Highland spray seed is a family business who have been living and operating in the Highlands for over 16 years. We have been in the lawn and turf industry throughout that period, so we know a lot about growing and maintaining lawns in this beautiful region.

In the past, when you want grass fast, laying turf was the only option. Well we’ve turned that notion on it’s head with Highland Spray Seed. Yes, there is a germination time, but our process allows you to establish a new lawn area in a shorter period of time, without the problems of conventional lawn growing methods. And most importantly, without the costs!!!

Highland Spray Seed is the easiest and most efficient way to establish a new lawn.The process begins by adding a mix of lawn seed, mulch, fertiliser and water in our specially equipped tank which mixes the ingredients into a spray-on easy-care seed mix. The mix is then sprayed evenly over the prepared topsoil forming an interlocking mat on the soil's surface. The mulch reduces surface movement and reduces seed loss when watering - allowing the area to germinate evenly.

Highland sprayseed products and application has no introduced lawn grubs or weeds within the mix. Grass seed lawns are more susceptible to weed invasion and soil erosion due to their longer establishment time. Highland Spray Seed eliminates that issue.

There is no back-breaking labour when you hire us to lay your lawn! We prepare the area completely before spraying, quickly and easily, onto the topsoil. The mulch within the mix provides sufficient warmth and moisture to the new seed, to increase the speed of germination. After germination, the mulch begins to decompose improving the soil's quality and texture. You’ll enjoy watching the grass grow without all the effort!

Grass seed lawns are more susceptible to weed invasion and soil erosion due to their longer establishment time. On the other hand, spray seed lawns typically establish faster than grass seed, providing quicker, cleaner and more reliable results.
